Since I have many of amazing friends in many amazing musical projects, I'll keep the band theme going. Today we'll look at my good mate Jesse Kees project, Man Plus Building. Man Plus Building is an awesome "math rock" band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They play often at The Spanish Moon, they just finished recording their second album and are in the process of mastering it now. Jesse played a rough version for me in his car, it was fucking rad. He is claiming May, and it will be available on vinyl (I'm crossing my finger on both of those claims).


Jesse is one of my favorite people in the world.


All these other guys (Rory, Mitch, and Josh) are rad humans too.

WELOVESIT

This was a drawing I did for my friend Milon's band SHELOVESIT. They don't really practice anymore. Some of the members are in other bands (Beat Kids, Antarctica), everyone is busy. This is what Christian (one of the guitarists) said last month on their myspace page,
"RIP?
Hopefully not, but due to personal differences and busy schedules we are taking a break. Sadly, this may end with a lineup change or even the end of SHELOVESIT. However, you can fully expect the members of this band to continue making music, in this band or another. Mike (drums) has started Beat Kids, and Christian (guitar) has joined Antarctica; Quade's (bass) band. Collectively I'm sure no one wants to see the band end, but the future is still uncertain.

All we can do is pray the stoner metal group gets it together, but until then here is a show they played last year at The Fire House and links to the new projects.
